IN PROSPECT 03/15/2020 AND SPECIAL MESSAGE

There is a lot going of information coming out about COVID-19, a virus that has made many people ill. It’s important to remember that the Bible tells us to trust in the Lord and in all our ways acknowledge Him. Prudent precautions should be exercised but panic is totally unnecessary. Proper actions are being taken by healthcare providers and we should, as people of faith, live by faith, not fear, and do our due diligence.

This Sunday, join us at 9:30 AM for Adult Bible Study and Women’s Bible Study. Afterwards, there will be music from our Praise Team and Worship Service at 10:45 AM.

This week, Senior Pastor Dr. Eddie Gandy’s sermon titled, “It’s About Him”, will discuss; Ephesians 1:7-23. We would love for you to join us!

On the third and fourth Sunday of the month, Associate Pastor Steve Celinski hosts a new members class. Anyone interested can find out more information by visiting our membership page.

On March 19, there will be an information and interest meeting at the Cornerstone in Inverness at 7PM for the association mission trip to Kentucky on June 15-19.

On April 11, we will he hosting our Annual Easter Egg Hunt but candy donations and volunteers are still needed. If you would like to know to help, please use our contact page or call us at 3526832863.

We are still collecting for camp scholarships. If you would like to make a donation, there is a board filled with assorted envelopes on the back table in the worship center. Each envelope has a donation amount written on it. Just place the amount written on the envelope inside of it and place it in the offering plate. For additional information about the scholarship fund, please speak with Youth Pastor Alex Williams.

Three Homes Everyone Needs

This Sunday, Senior Pastor Dr. Eddie Gandy goes over scripture to detail our Earthly Homes, our Church Homes and our Heavenly home. He also explains the importance of having a Church home and shares experiences he has had in his own life.

Three homes everyone needs

When not to Pray

This Sunday, Senior Pastor Dr. Eddie Gandy shares some comforting words about prayers and not losing heart. He also explains that God is not our Heavenly sugar daddy and tells us that there is a time to stop praying and start moving. To turn our lives around, we need to DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. He further expands on the need for fellowship, tithing, repentance, trust and obedience.

Introduction:

I.  When God has already given instruction.

A. Move to Action: Exodus 14:15

  1. Be saved: II Peter 3:9, I Timothy 2:3-4
  2. Repent: Luke 13:3
  3. Be Baptized: Acts 2:38
  4. Get involved in Church: Hebrews 10:24-25
  5. Give: Proverbs 3:9, Malachi 3:9-10

II. When we have a rebellious spirit: Proverbs 28:9

III. When we refuse to listen: Jeremiah 14:10-12, Proverbs 1:28-30

IV. When we have un-confessed sin: Isaiah 59:2, Psalms 66:18

Conclusion: I John 1:9, Romans 10:13, Psalms 139:23-24, II Chronicles 7:14.

Today we will be hosting our monthly potluck. Everyone is welcome to join us after service. If you would like to contribute a covered dish, please bring it to the Fellowship Hall.

The Valentine’s dinner and show will be on February 12th at 6:30pm. If you would like to buy tickets, they are $5.00 each and will be available after worship service. Tickets will only be for sale until February 9th. For more information, please see the Bulletin Board page of our website.

Listen to the Holy Spirit

This Sunday, Senior Pastor Dr. Eddie Gandy discusses how we need to listen to the Holy Spirit and to not let the flame die. He gives examples and details from the Bible where we are told repeatedly to hear what the spirit has to say. He explains that as followers of Jesus Christ, the world will get us down but that it’ll be okay as long as we listen and follow what Christ tells us.
