THE ULTIMATE ISSUE

This Sunday, Senior Pastor Dr. Eddie Gandy speaks with us about Jesus’ self resurrection. He reminds us that Jesus wants us to be free from our bonds and goes on to explain that without the resurrection, we are all still in our sins. Dr. Gandy goes on to clarify that because of the resurrection, we have life, forgiveness and hope.

Operation Christmas Child collection is in full swing. We have 3 more weeks to collect items for the boxes. It’s time to buy toys! November 10th will be our preparations day for packing the boxes and November 11th at 6:30 pm, we will have our packing party.

Our monthly Food Pantry will be held on October 27 from 9:30am until noon. Last month, we were able to help 21 families and 57 people. If you would like to help, please see Meg or Joel Wissmueller. We are also collecting jars of peanut butter and jelly for October’s food pantry. If you would like to make a donation, please place your items in the plastic bin at the back.

In December we will be collecting for Lottie Moon. Your generosity transforms lives around the world.

When not to Pray

This Sunday, Senior Pastor Dr. Eddie Gandy shares some comforting words about prayers and not losing heart. He also explains that God is not our Heavenly sugar daddy and tells us that there is a time to stop praying and start moving. To turn our lives around, we need to DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. He further expands on the need for fellowship, tithing, repentance, trust and obedience.

IN PROSPECT 02-02-2020

This Sunday, join us at 9:30 AM for Adult Bible Study and Women’s Bible Study. Afterwards, there will be music from our Praise Team and Worship Service at 10:45 AM.

We are still collecting for camp scholarships. If you would like to make a donation, there is a board filled with assorted envelopes on the back table in the worship center. Each envelope has a donation amount written on it. Just place the amount written on the envelope inside of it and place it in the offering plate. For additional information about the scholarship fund, please speak with Youth Pastor Alex Williams.

Winter Youth Camp will be the 7th through the 9th of this month at Word of Life.
