We are currently collecting for Operation Christmas Child. We have a box on the table in the back for collecting items to place in the gift boxes. School supplies are currently on sale but keep in mind that liquids and bottled glue are not allowed. Solid glue sticks; however are acceptable. Also, liquid hand sanitizer and liquid soaps are not allowed but bars of soap are okay. A list of ideas for items to go into the box is on the table, in front of the box. Please feel free to take one to serve as a guideline for what you donate. Please remember, the item needs to fit in the shoebox! (Box size- 11 ½ in. long, 6 ¾ in. wide, 4 ¼ high.)

In this Sunday’s sermon, we hear Associate Pastor Steve Celinski discuss the gifts we sometimes get during this Christmas season and how the gift of Jesus Christ gives forever unlike any other gift we may receive. He explains how Jesus was prophesied long before his birth and how we are free and heirs of Heaven because of him. We are also reminded that knowing Jesus isn’t enough. That we need to receive him.
Below is a copy of the sermon that you can listen to as well as notes about which verses are being discussed. Included in the notes are Bible links so that you can follow along.
