OPTIMIST OR PESSIMIST?

This week, Senior Pastor Dr. Eddie Gandy talks to us about optimists and pessimists. He asks us if we make excuses for why we can’t do what God ordains us to do and reminds us that God has a plan and calling for all of us.

Pastor Gandy also talks to us about Jeremiah, all that he went through in order to do what God wanted him to do and how God delivered Jeremiah every time.

Lastly, Pastor Gandy reminds us that life goes by fast, so walk with God and be optimistic in God.

Our monthly Food Pantry will be held on December 22nd from 9:30am until noon in the Fellowship Hall. Please see Meg or Joel Wissmueller if you wish to volunteer. We are currently in need of donations, especially canned fruit, canned vegetables and spaghetti sauce.

On Wednesday, December 23rd, there will be no evening service and on December 24th, we will be holding our Christmas Eve light services at 6:30pm.

We do ask that you follow CDC guidelines when visiting for the health and safety of everyone.

In this weeks sermon, Senior Pastor Dr. Eddie Gandy has us reflect on the times we may have been in the wilderness and how God is there with us. He talks about how, even though life is consuming us, God gives us the fuel we need to keep going.

In Prospect

This Sunday, join us at 9:30 AM for Adult Bible Study and Women’s Bible Study.

Afterwards, there will be music from our Praise Team and Worship Service at 10:45 AM. In Senior Pastor Dr. Eddie Gandy’s message this week, “Setting aside God’s Grace”, he will be discussing Galatians 2:20-21 along with John 8:9, Romans 2:15, Romans 9:1, I Corinthians 8:7-12, I Timothy 1:19; 3:9, I Timothy 4:1-2, Titus 1:15, Hebrews 8:13-14, Romans 8:26-27 and Romans 8:34, so be sure to join us.

Also this Sunday after worship service, we will be having our Thanksgiving Potluck. Everyone is welcome for good food and good company.
