This Sunday, Senior Pastor Dr. Eddie Gandy goes over scripture to detail our Earthly Homes, our Church Homes and our Heavenly home. He also explains the importance of having a Church home and shares experiences he has had in his own life.

Below is a copy of the sermon that you can listen to as well as notes about which verses are being discussed. Included in the notes are Bible links so that you can follow along.

Three homes everyone needs

Text: Luke 15:17-24; Philippians 1:3-11; John 14:1-3; Revelation 21:1-5

I. An Earthly Home: Genesis 30:25; Luke 15:17-24

II. A Church Home: Philippians 1:3-11; Hebrews 10:24-25

III. A Heavenly Home: John 14:1-3; Revelation 21:1-5, John 5:28-29, Ecclesiastes 12:7

On March 19, there will be an information and interest meeting at the Cornerstone in Inverness at 7PM for the association mission trip to Kentucky on June 15-19.

The next potluck will be on April the 5th after worship service. A covered dish is always welcome and appreciated.

On April 11, we will he hosting our Annual Easter Egg Hunt but candy donations and volunteers are still needed. If you would like to know to help, please use our contact page or call us at 3526832863.

We still have a fundraiser on the back table to provide scholarships for the youth to go to camp. If you would like to donate, just take one of the numbered envelopes and place the amount written inside. Then place the envelope in the offering plate. Any help offered will be appreciated.

This Sunday, join us at 9:30 AM for Adult Bible Study and Women’s Bible Study. Afterwards, there will be music from our Praise Team and Worship Service at 10:45 AM.

This week, Senior Pastor Dr. Eddie Gandy’s sermon titled, “When Not To Pray”, will discuss verses; Philippians 4:6, I Thessalonians 5:17, 12, Luke 18:1, 7 with further focus on Philippians 4:2-3, 6, I Thessalonians 5:17, 12, Luke 18; 1, 7, Exodus 14:15, II Peter 3:9, I Timothy 2:3-4, Luke 13:3, Acts 2:38, Hebrews 10:24-25, Proverbs 3:9, Malachi 3:9-10, Proverbs 28:9, Jeremiah 14:10-12, Proverbs 1:28-30, Isaiah 59:2, Psalms 66:18, I John 1:9, Romans 10:13, Psalms 139:23-24 and II Chronicles 7:14. We would love for you to join us!

Today we will be hosting our monthly potluck. Everyone is welcome to join us after service. If you would like to contribute a covered dish, please bring it to the Fellowship Hall.

The Valentine’s dinner and show will be on February 12th at 6:30pm. If you would like to buy tickets, they are $5.00 each and will be available after worship service. Tickets will only be for sale until February 9th. For more information, please see the Bulletin Board page of our website.

We are still collecting for camp scholarships. If you would like to make a donation, there is a board filled with assorted envelopes on the back table in the worship center. Each envelope has a donation amount written on it. Just place the amount written on the envelope inside of it and place it in the offering plate. For additional information about the scholarship fund, please speak with Youth Pastor Alex Williams.

Winter Youth Camp will be the 7th through the 9th of this month at Word of Life.

This Sunday, join us at 9:30 AM for Adult Bible Study and Women’s Bible Study. Afterwards, there will be music from our Praise Team and Worship Service at 10:45 AM. This week, Senior Pastor Dr. Eddie Gandy’s sermon titled, “Dealing with Disappointment”, will discuss verses; Luke 22:12-23 along with Exodus 12:7, 12-14, Exodus 14:10-15, Exodus 15:22-25, Proverbs 3:11-12, Genesis 18:25, Genesis 27:41, Philippians 4:13 and Job 5:17-18. We would love for you to join us!

In Prospect September 29

This Sunday, join us at 9:30 AM for Adult Bible Study and Women’s Bible Study.

Afterwards, there will be music from our Praise Team and Worship Service at 10:45 AM. Pastor Eddie Gandy will discuss dealing with adversity in his sermon on 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 and 2 Corinthians 1:8-12. Also being covered this Sunday are Psalms 51, Psalms 103:10, Philippians 1:21, Colossians 3:17, Romans 12:1-2, 1 Peter 1:6-9, 1 Peter 5:10, Proverbs 13:20 and Proverbs 17:17, so be sure to join us.

Also, just a reminder, we are having a potluck on October 6th in the Fellowship Hall after Worship Service and on October 25th, we will be having a fall festival. More volunteers are needed for the event. The volunteer sign up sheet will be located on the back table.

We are still collecting for Operation Christmas Child. We only have 11 more dollars to raise for the shipping cost of the boxes. Any funds raised over that amount will be used to purchase items for the boxes.

This Sunday, join us at 9:30 AM for Adult Bible Study and Women’s Bible Study as well as a New Members Class with Associate Pastor Steve Celinski.

Afterwards, there will be music from our Praise Team and Worship Service at 10:45 AM. Pastor Eddie Gandy will be continuing his discussion on adversity in his sermon on 2 Corinthians 12:7-10. Also being covered this Sunday is 2 Timothy 3:10-11, 2 Corinthians 1:8-11 and 2 Corinthians 4:7-10, 16-18 as well as a closer look at James 4:6 and Proverbs 16:18, so be sure to join us.
