Remember Me

This Sunday, Senior Pastor Dr. Eddie Gandy asks each one of us to think about when and where we first met Jesus. He talks about Jesus’ humanity and reminds us to remember Him. Below is prerecorded video and audio of this past Sunday’s sermon along with links to the verses that are being discussed.

Text: I Corinthians 11:23-26

I. Remember Where/How We Met.

II. Remember What I Did.

III. Remember Who I Am: John 1:1,14,29; John 11:25

IV. Remember Why: I John 5:11-13

New members classes are normally held on the 3rd and 4th Sunday of each month. Please sign up and confirm ahead of time.

On October 24th and November 3rd, there will be a Grief Workshop at First Baptist Brooksville. The two classes being offered are “Surviving the Holidays” and “The Loss of a Spouse.” Workbooks will be $5.00. For additional information, please call their office at (352) 796-6791.

We only have 4 more weeks to collect items for the Operation Christmas Child boxes and still need monetary donations to cover the shipping costs. On November 10th, we will be prepping the boxes for the packing party on November 11th.

Our monthly Food Pantry will be held on October 27 from 9:30am until noon. Last month, we were able to help 21 families and 57 people. If you would like to help, please see Meg or Joel Wissmueller. We are also collecting jars of peanut butter and jelly for October’s food pantry. If you would like to make a donation, please place your items in the plastic bin at the back.

In December we will be collecting for Lottie Moon. Your generosity transforms lives around the world.
